The answer is somewhat dependent on perspective and how we indulge. Definitely it feels awesome to share space and thoughts with best brains of nation. The discussions in class are highly intellectual. Focus lies on being able to make you think analytically and there is lot of peer learning. There are various industry interactions in the form of guest lectures and summits. Students, as a part of different clubs and committees manage and facilitate all the events that occur very frequently. Unlike engineering you are the responsible head for anything happening in and around. All festivals are celebrated in full spirit. From Diwali to haloween there is nothing that you will miss. The junior senior hierarchy is not as prominent as in engineering college except in committees. At personal level you hardly have any free time to kill. You are bombarded with presentations, assignments, roleplays, Field visits but most of these acivities are in teams. You will not have much time for yourself but you are busy with what you love. You have ample resources like faculty guidance, peer support, libraries and good opportunities to bring a change by initiatives like 'every child to school'. In short the life at IIM is very vibrant and a lifetime experience.
